We are delighted that you are considering singing with us in 2026 at The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on Saturday 20 June (3pm) & Sunday 21 June (4pm).
No previous experience is necessary to be part of the choir, and there are no auditions. The only requirements are that you are aged 16 or over and can sing either Soprano (melody), Alto, or Tenor (men). Young people from P5-S6 are welcome to join the PG Youth Choir – please click HERE for the PGYC registration page or email jenny@praisegathering.org.uk.
Choir rehearsals will be held in-person in 3 different cities:
- Glasgow: Clincarthill Parish Church, 1224 Cathcart Road, Glasgow G42 9EU
- Edinburgh: Blackhall St Columba’s Church, Columba Road, Edinburgh EH4 3QU
- Dundee: The Steeple Church, Nethergate, Dundee DD1 4DG
Rehearsals will start at 7.15pm and finish at 9.45pm each evening. There will be a live stream of the Glasgow rehearsals which will also be available to replay anytime.
Choir members are expected to attend at least 7 of the 10 rehearsals, and you are free to change venues week to week as your schedule permits.
Words and music will be provided on-line in advance of rehearsals starting, and rehearsal tracks will be distributed during the course of the rehearsal season. Singers are encouraged to memorise the songs, though words will be shown on screens during the concerts.
